French subscription-based channel Canal+ and Canal Sat are launching a brand new set-top box for HDTV, IPTV and VOD named “Le Cube“.
The box and the user experience has been designed by Yves Behar at fuseproject (designers of Jawbone, OLPC among other great products).

It seems that a lot of people are looking for one of these precious invitations.

Well, I finally got an invitation to try Joost Beta.
At first sight it seems pretty OK, but there is definitely a lack of content to really feel like using it regularly. The National Geographic channel is probably the most “interesting” channel featured as for now.
